  • im 5'6'' and have to use 160 lb poles and i only way 140. im not fast. but my step is always under 6 or so inches. i have trouble getting deep in to the pit. is this a combination of my hieght and under step. or just a speed issue?

  • cant find a thing wrong with that

  • I would have to say dan west is a way way better coach! He coaches for lane community college. He coached a vaulter in the 92' olympics. and has coached at u of o. lanes pole vault team could compete with alot of d1 schools. We are better then u of o's pole vaulting program. and for the peole that have vaulted with Bagget do you know Jack Hippler? If so ask him who the better coach is. Dan West or Rick bagget.

  • Rick Bagget. Excellent pole vault coach. I Go here all the time.

  • well im 5ft3!! does that mean im screwed?!

  • haha, i'm already 6'4 so i don't need to have a higher plant to get that high :P

  • Yes! Rick Bagget's da man!

He's helped me SO much in my vaulting

I'm from Sandy High School, and that's where Tommy Skipper went to school, he's the national record holder for high school.

I'm not setting any records, but Rick has helped me get a lot better
