Sweden is the no. 1 country in black metal, no doubt about it! Norwegians made almost only crap from 97-98 to prezent(Varg came out with two good albums only) and the bands who play good music today are not black metal anymore(Darkthrone, Enslaved, Satyricon). But in Sweden there are: Marduk, Watain, Dissection(were), Funeral Mist, Malign, Ofermod, Ondskapt, Mortuus, Nifelheim etc all giving something and doing new for the genre!

Old (the real) In Flames meets black metal,absolutely stunning. This is a masterpiece. One has to love the beauty found only in this type of art, sometimes its hard to find or hear under the poor production of most black metal bands, but when it's there, for example...DISSECTION, it is impeccable.
