I totally agree. although i would still take my r1 over the new beamer. my buddy bought one and he let me take it for a spin. after 2 hours i needed a new ass. he got rid of it a week later. he uses his 09 r1 strictly for the track and just rides his super duke around. i love absolutely everything about my bike.

Busas don't eat litre bikes like most people think.

What makes Busas special is their tune-ability, out of the box they arn't much quicker than litre bikes, but you can easily increase the power - I cant see an R1 coping too well with 300+ bhp

For example, the BMW S1000RR has more power and less weight than a stock busa.

Yes it is a GSXR but not a bussa you can tell by the gauges and the Triple tree setup. and correct, the R1 couldnt ever touch a Bussa, the bussa is the fastest production bike on the planet period. and another FYI the R1's arent that fast either. a GSXR 750 can beat one. I know that cause I got a gsxr750 and there hasnt been a Yamaha or honda that could touch my bike
