This sounds a lot like the message in the book 'The Secret', which isn't totally bollocks. After I read that book I decided to test the theory in a couple of ways. The first was I pictured intently in my mind finding a $50 note and I tried hard to believe it. Less than two weeks later, I found a $50 bag of skunk weed. It was good stuff too by the smell of it, but I flushed it because pot does bad things to my mind.

So maybe this does work. It also shows that maybe God has a sense of humour.

I think you're missing one other point: external factors.... such as prejudice from others. I notice that to get into a job it can be very difficult. If you don't have the right look, or even the right name, you're chances of getting that job is slim to none. Too bad 'cause we could really use the real talent of people rather than having someone that got hired because they were friends or relative of the guy in charge. That's why there are 1000 channels on TV and nothing worth seeing.

This reminds me of all the scams that the people who made the "secret" are involved in. This is a totally YUPPIE idea... its all about me, me, me... I need to be rich! Never mind the fact that the criminal BANKERS have robbed the economy blind... you can just start thinking yourself rich... DON'T FOOL YOURSELVES! People get rich through hard work, ingenuity, or criminality.

The point of the video is that you must first change the way you think about money and your old habits with money before you can start to become wealthy. The key to becoming wealthy and maintaining that wealth starts with your mind. A key example is how many lottery winners and star athletes end up broke after having millions. They don't have the right mindset to stay wealthy.
