when i was little i was diagnosed with Athmza and i would get sick all the time and end up in the ER and then we got this stuff that i could use at home and i have that same mask.
This is Ryan Brewer, Case's daddy. With regret Cornelius died in our arms on January 8, 2009. He told us with his eyes that he was done fighting. He refused treatments so we decided to escort him home to Jesus. Everyday we think of him and miss him but we are assured that he is dancing and singing in heaven, waiting to greet us some day. i have lost 2 little boys to SMA type 1 and the work that goes in to keeping them out of hospital is sooo hard going, very tireing and it never seemed to end, i love your video it's so informative and just shows the effort that goes in to caring for a baby with this condition.
Our daughter is sma type one Enna Lohin Duchaine. I saw you video and I liked it with the info and such. Enna was born in February 2008 as well. She was diagnosed at the end of May. She is also on youtube. But I just wanted to say that I am amazed of the ambition that all have and the great efforts our families have in all the strides of all we go threw. The education we learn in such a short time, the fight , the empowerment of our love for our children. I enjoyed the peace of your video.
Im just curious and dont mean any offense by this, but can you put his feeding tube in his tummy instead of his nose? This way you could see all of his precious face. I love his smile its so adorable and he is a very handsome boy. Just seeing him smile makes my eyes swell with tears (happy ones). Im glad to see that he is a very happy baby despite what he has to go through everyday.
"Sometimes you have to get weak to realize you're strong!" His muscles may be weak, but he is a strong little boy, and a precious, beautiful, miracle. You are a very strong, brave family! Is there a caringbridge/carepage/blogger/etc that I can view updates on? I would love to follow Case's journey...it's always easier with friends =) God bless you!

Have you ever tried The Vest machine? My son Ryan uses it and it works GREAT for cpt.
