In the match against Smyslov, Tal gave in to the audience and effectively sacrificed his queen. The commentators immediately called it unsound. On move 26 Smyslov admitted defeat and resigned.
And also Fischer, who was as cocky as he was ingenious lost to Tal several times, whereupon Tal said: "Bobby kuku". The meaning of this "kuku"...[video cuts off]"
No thats Tal. But where does he mention this cucu-incident? I can't find the page. Have looked in his chapter about the "road to the world championship"
I remember this cucu incident that is mentioned in Tal's autobiography. After defeating Fischer in their game (after making the winning move) Tal cried Cucu and Fisher burst into tears!!!
it was 'nt afte a game, it was when tal saw bf in a restaraunt-I have no idea why mt said cucu generally bf and mt were on good terms - see the pic from bf visit to mt in hospital in 1962
So who was the GREATEST chess player of them all? AND, will there ever be a player that beats today's modern and best chess computer program(s)?
Thanks in advance for any and all of your friendly comments!!

Narrator: "The candidates tournament took place in Yugoslavia in Semptember 1959. It was the last step to the earthly chess Olympus.
Noboby of the chess-giants, not Keres, not Spassky, nor Pertrosian or Smyslov regarded Tal as a serious rival.
