I own 7 echo string trimmer's (5 curved shaft,2 straight shaft).echo is great quality that rivals that of stihl.kawasaki,tanaka,redman,s­hindaiwa and makita.I would recommend anybody to buy an echo.

I have an Echo GT - 2000EZR w/ a 1HP 17" straight shaft. Runs awesome, but it's really smokey all the time. check out my video on it. great vid man.

It's freaking sweet, light weight, starts every time, with effortless pulling.
