The one thing I don't like about magic is that whoever can spend the most money on cards does the best in tournaments. So, its not exactly a strategy game per say because its all about the money

Did Randy seriously say there's not a lot of wrath in this format. Wow, really dude off the top of my head I count at least 3, Coup, Planar Cleansing, Day of Judgment.

Actually try a white weenie deck, you can make them with no money at all and the work and can be good

@NerdNishy i disagree because you can have the best cards in the world and no idea how to play them and fail pretty frequently.
zangetsu9915 1 year ago
@NerdNishy You could make a deck with 4 black lotuses and you are guaranteed to lose to every single deck in organised tournaments.

Jund really does not need abyssal persecutor at all, therefore it is a very reasonably priced deck considering the power level

1. Jung $500 w/ abysal prosecutor
2. Naya $600 w/ baneslayer

Tell me about it. I'm building RWB Planeswalker control for a local PTQ and I'm looking at about $640.

I think the G/W is a pretty solid midrange deck, I just think jund is still a little better.

I think he meant in the meta, meaning that few people are actually playing Wraths.
Slug99 2 years ago 4
that makes a lot more sense
WickedDealer 2 years ago
No one plays those cards. most are to slow other than Doj
carthwolf 2 years ago
He meant not being played in the top tier decks. There's always at least a little bit of wrath in any format...
metaforte 2 years ago
the point he was getting at is that most decks being all aggro or midrange dont USE wrath affects
