  • what does sacre francais mean i asked a french guy and he didnt even know.. if it means sacred french or something is it trying to be a bad word??. ive been wondering about this for years.

  • @blackkat77 Loose translation would be "Sacred France"

  • @blackkat77 : It means "Damn French!" or "Bloody French!". Aka. The little enamoured moustached man is annoying the crap out of her. ;)

  • @Babeolicious Really? Well I need to stop relying on web translators. haha

  • Are the two voices sampled from a movie? Another song?

  • i've been trying to find this song since 95 thanx!

  • J'aime cette chanson! Il est accrocheur!

  • Sorry for correcting you

Ahh les bons vieux temps de l'age doré des années 90! J'aimais beaucoup cette chanson å l'age de 6 ans, espéciallement le video clip ;)

  • I can't imagine that this sound is from the nineties. It is sixties and recycled by Dimitri from paris. Like Theme from U.N.C.L.E., returned in a sound from DFP.

  • sergio from mexico, love dimitri from paris

  • Très bien messier Dimitri :D saluts

  • Love you dimitri ... c u in singapore on july!!

  • Mon Dieu, la musique de Dimitri From Paris est fantastique, trés bien!, Sacre Francais est magnifique! :-)

  • @TheChill4u ouais, agree, c'est trop bon!....et de penser, que je viens de le decouvrir...a mon avis, les francais semblent d'avoir une bonne oreille pour la musique electronique/jazz...vous avez daft punk et justice et dimitri...

  • Where are the two characters on the album cover from? I know I've seen them somewhere else!

  • DIMITRI

  • Bon souvenir :D:D

  • @ogoje Hell yeah! I only remember parts of the late 90's (I was born in 1993.) But the 90's kicked ass. haha

  • @ogoje I have memories of buying this record and many many other great lps in the 90s!

  • I LOVE DIMITRI FROM PARIS (L)

  • How can you not dig this bad ass mix .... mmm mmm good

  • Barbie Barbie

  • I like also the next tune after this one" M. Dimitri Joue Du Stylophone" ... A special dude this Dimitri!

  • Absolutely one of my all time favs!!!! I love this lil jig, it puts me in a very good mood and I could have a care in the world and not worry no more. Thanks for posting this for me, this will make my week go by great! ; ) 5 ***** and into my favs.

  • Anyone know where to find the actual animated video of this?

  • Hey! Have someone got lyrics?

I know lyrics isnt complicated, but i wanna know what she said.

  • I don't see the lyrics posted anywhere, but this is what I hear:

    "Vous dansez, Mademoiselle?"

    (Do you dance, Miss?)

    "Sacré Français!"

    (Sacred French!)

"Je n'suis pas celle que vous croyez!"

    (I'm not what you think!)

  • While the translation of "Sacred French" is literally correct, it's meaning isn't the same; the meaning of "Sacré" in that expression would be closer to "friggin' french" or "blasted french" :)

  • My dad was just playing this on his stereo, i had to stop what i was doing and listen!!

    Excellent stuff!

  • yes

  • EXCELENTE!

  • non ci allarghiamo...

  • Stupenda!!!

  • very nice ;)
