  • To be fair, you can get the same effect by mini pulsating your position and doing several variations of the curl. This bar just allows you to work a larger range of motion in one exercise. I've looked up the price. It's not very expensive relative to exercise equipment. I think it was around $150.00.

  • The design of the bar is to keep the tension on the biceps during the upper portion of the rep. With a normal bar, once you get to the point where you are printing your arms in instead of up, the load moves to the elbow. Having the weight move outwards helps to prevent this, and the effect can not be recreated by simply adding weight.

  • This looks great. So do all the products in Charles' videos, but where i live all of these great toys cost too much money.

  • It looks like it does that by moving the center of gravity farther away from the body then it would normally be for a standard barbell.

    Is this correct?

  • @mrceebees14 yep but only at the top end of range.Looks like a complete waste of money to me,you could just do partial range curls with heavier weight ,use chains ,bands ,anything that gets harder at inner range.Theres a lot of material in that gimmick and it wont be cheap.

  • @scarred10 Yeah, I kind of agree. But then too I don't train world class athletes. :)

  • @candersoncscs he could train every athlete in the world, some of his stuff is still rubbish.Fortunately, most of his stuff is very good and very hyped
