And out of that team, came two different sets, Glenflesk, who won scor 2003.

And Spa Set Dancers who won FIVE all-irelands in a row after that, 2004,2005,2006,2007 &2008, dancing different sets, Roscommon Lancers, Cavan Reel, Longford Set.

i think that while you may have been a member of the first team to dance the roscommon Lancers in allirelands you were not the team leader. Indeed im fairly sure that another member of the team actually thaught the gleneagles dancers to do the lancers back in 1999 or 2000.... please dont be taking credit for stuff your not entitled to the credit for.

Thats a mighty set surley, i was the guy who first put it on a stage for competition with the mighty Elphin set dancers back in 1996 and it took an all ireland that year and many since, great to see so many teams dance it now ,the step isn't to hard to learn if you come to Roscommon to get it, ha. i may throw the breakdown of it on you tube when i get time, Gerard butler.

They look great, but.......... Is it just me, or is the dancing slightly un-sychronized with the music? I think the music is a beat behind the dancing in some of the clips. If not, then I've been doing this step wrong for 3 years. :)

This set as far as I can remember now is called 'The Roscommon Lancers'.It is the hardest step to learn in the set dancing.That's why it looks so good.
