Here are my system specs: Asus AN8-Sli, AMD 64 3500+, 2 Gb DDR Ram, Nvidia 7900 GT,80 gb and 320gb Harddisks. The 80 GB is free and the one that I was going to use for OSX.

it depends on what distro you used; one kext may work nicley with one distro while the same kext might cause a kernel panic with another distro.
