Great blues ballad. Please lift the southern soul embargo. That what it was referred to in the late 70's when Black radio stations wouldn't play southern soul as it sounded dated and unhip at times. This is one not to be missed. I have it on that Cheatin' soul and the southern dream of freedom but forgot what compilation it was on. Totally blown away then and now. When was this recorded as there's little reliable info about this on the net (not on discogs)?
I for one, would LOVE to hear Joss Stone and this man do something together! The harmony would be outrageous!! She hot and he fine!!! Just this music freaks opinion,we all got one.
Don't be dissin Clarence Carter now.
