Brody was killed by invader#1(the stabber) and Carlos colon(who wanted Brody dead), now Carlos colons company(wwc) which was one of the top promotions in the world, is now a complete joke. As for invader#1, since the incident, he has lost many friends, he lost lot of wrestlers respect, he would be murdered if he enters japan and now there are alot rumors in Puerto Rico that invader is losing his mind. @beefmong Thumbs up. He was at that. I saw him at a few shows back in the 70's. Fake or not, the guy could make you piss your pants with that wild eye stare of his. He ran at me and 2 of my friends, we jumped the row of chairs behind us and never looked back. Didnt want to know if he'd stop before he got to us or not. Wasnt about to stay and find out. LOL The Butcher spilled more blood in his careee then any wrestler alive back in the day. I'd say the Shiek was a close second.

Abdullah the Butcher was one of the best wrestler ever for many reasons, but there is two of them that I really like. First dont matter who he was wrestling ,he always sold his opponents very well making their power moves look great. And years before Hogan and Ric Flair, it was typical Abdullah the get back in the match after absorbing a great deal of punishment.

You got that right. I too love that style of Abby's. In the ring, he took as much punishment from his opponents as he dished it out on them. However, that was the case only if they were the top-class wrestlers that Abby truly respected. I mean, he put over tough suckers or top guys in the territories like Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, Andre the Giant, Hulk Hogan, Terry Funk, Carlos Colon, Giant Baba and Antonio Inoki.

Otherwise, he wouldn't like to sell young boys, underdogs and jobbers and would beat the crap out of them, putting them into bloodbath and finish those matches in two or three minutes quick. In the past, I actually saw that kinda matches many many times here in Japan or Puerto Rico. That was what Abby was really about, I beleive.
