Of course Benny Hill got flogged by Ben Elton and the "new comedians" for beeing too sexist. But I always loved his good bits, like this one. Visiting the Chaplin family's house in Switzerland, Hill and producer Dennis Kirkland were allowed into Chaplin's study. That really was an honor. And then they found out that Chaplin had enjoyed all the Benny Hill shows on VHS :-) Thank you for sharing!

That was Barbara Lindley . . . she also was a nurse in the park in Benny's "auteur" TV-film "Eddie in August" which he filmed prior to the show from which this bit originated, but aired after his first four Thames specials. She also appeared in the ending runoff of the same show where this hospital sketch came from. Her last original acting credits were from about 1973.
