I helped make the video. It was named WW2 gun for no real reason, just cause the BAR was the first one shot that day. This is youtube, not the history channel.
damd you and your 7.62, a true BREN is .303 British! bloody nato. thanks for the info man. also if thats only 7.62 he would be fucked if it was .303 lol.
Perhaps the 'Bren' is an older version of the Czech original. There were a few, including one bought by the Chinese army in the 1930s. The post-war Brens had a birdcage flash-hider, and this one has a conical one. Also, the post-war Bren's mag has a suble curve in it. This one is totally straight; again, like the Chinese and Czech models, which fired 7.92mm rounds, not Brit .303 or post-war 7.62 NATO.
That's definitely not a Breda Modello 30. The Breda has a very distinctive look, and the weapon in the video is not it. For one, the Breda has a magazine that is mounted sideways, like the Sten. That magazine is fixed to the weapon, by the way, so you can't detach it like you see it modelled on the FPS Battlefield 1942.
Maybe not, I just guessed. I remembered a Breda Modello 30 in a WW2 museum. But I didnt get a good enough look. So I guess the gun laid down on its side or something, so I remembered it having a Clip upwards. you convinced me. I checked on Internett, it looks a world apart from that gun. ^^
Em... i'm a qualified instructor on the bren lmg as we still use here in the army reserve in Ireland. The bren fires from a 30 round mag, though it should only be loaded with 28 rounds to avoid overstressing the springs! Is that one of the later 7.62mm versions? Cause the mag is alot straighter than the .303 banana mag!
omfg this is the second time i commented & look buddy if we had that mp5 & the uzi it wouldnt be called ww2 would it ne way u used shitty plastic/rubber bulets caz the bren lmg uses up 50 rounds per mag & ne 1 who says they hold 30 piz kill yourself now!
You are talking bollocks mate! I've used the Bren/LMG on many an occasion. It has a THIRTY ROUND mag! This type of display is utterly pointless. Where is the marksmanship? Where is the skill & discipline? A monkey can be taught to empty the entire contents of a mag down range! This sort of display really gives Americans a bad name as 'gun nuts.' They couldn't even fire the Bren properly IE prone position. Feeble.
beleive me ive used it more than u , mainly because i help with ww2 mordernday etc. gun matinatense it holds 50 the first bren lmg holds 50 i know this or do u wanna have a gun fight buddy?
Evidently you have NOT used a Bren gun, otherwise you would know it ony has a THIRTY ROUND magazine. The British army re-chambered the Bren from .303 to 7.62mm and renamed it the LMG. The mag lost it's curviture & became straight. It holds 30 rnds. It would fit on an L1A1 SLR (FN FAL). If the feed spring was beefed up, it worked a treat on the SLR. I know, I served in the British army for years!
Eh, what are you on about, i know the bren uses a 30 round mag, but there is a 50 one that used to be standered, ill look back @ comments to se wth youre on about...
FFS! Why don't you lie down on the floor and shoot the Bren/LMG properly! You cannot shoot it accurately with the bipod on a flat surface like that. Get it on the ground, get the butt in your shoulder and push forwards slightly so the bipod is loaded up. You haven't got an igloo you muppets!
The BAR is actualy from WW 1 but they didnt whant to use it in fear of that the Germans might capture it.

BAR1918, Breda Modella 30, US Carabine M2 (1945). That makes it 3.
But yeah, the first is UZI and the 4th looks like a shortened G3, a G3 Commando maybe.
