I've been a huge fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd for my whole life. I've always loved their songs, but the fact that they played THIS and it sounded like THAT completely blew me away
I met Billy Powell at a show in the late 90's. He was a friendly, gracious man. A regular guy. I have a picture of he and I talking and I treasure it, especially since he has passed on. A tremendous talent for sure and obviously a helluva nice guy. Play on my friend, the angels are blessed with you now.
