This is powerful energy. A friend taught me it. I was at a party and I wanted to meditate so I went outside in freezing temperatures and did this where you make like an inch cushion of warm air between your hands and hold it there. A girl came out and asked what I was doing, and still meditating I told her to put her hand between mine, and it scared the shit out of her. In freezing weather with high winds she could feel the heat.

i once heard from a master that each drop of sperm is equal to 7 drops of blood. understanding this, it's important to preserve one's sexual energy/sperm, to not necessarily ejaculate during every sexual intercourse (or masturbation)...especially in the winter, as blood circulation slows down.

also, the consumption of meat does not favor Qi flow through the body, as it blocks the vessels and finally the brain vessels too. Vegans are more likely to have a smoother flow of Qi in their body.

Never heard about the connection between blood and qi? As TCM says, blood and qi cannot be parted. Where there is blood, there is qi and vice versa. But also you can say: Send your concentration to a particular part of your body, hold it there and your vessels will expand, which results in a stronger flow of blodd in this particular area. The qi-sensation is nothing else than a stronger blood flow. The relation between focusing techniques and blood flow is scientifically and medicinal proofed.

I love the fact that you are educating people about the connection which the Chi has to blood in Chinese medicine.  Chi is also defined diferently according to TaI Chi Men school and as a member of this school I use this term. I think this is clear from my videos when seen as a whole.

@hotmac - It's not completely true. The Qi moves the Xue (blood), but the Jing Luo has Qi and not Xue. They are separated things. The influence of mind over the body is far from " scientifically and medicinal proofed". In China, searchers demonstrates that Qigong emission projects infrared waves, so the heat is not only "blood flow". The Universe is a bit more complex than this.

See if this "demonstration", from Taiji push hands training, works for you:

(1) stand upright, maybe with knees slightly bent

(2) IMAGINE yourself "intending" to lean forward . . . without actually taking any physical action to move

(3) you may notice that you start to sway forward

How is this understood?

Your "intention" has "moved" your chi in a certain direction . . . and the force of it affects you physically.

Hey, is it okaay that im ur teacher, Im trying to do the same as well and i picked up abit. ur first exersice is to hold out ur left hand, take ur right hand an then slowly rotate ur 2 fingers to the other hand, but do not touch ur left. when you keep doing this, ur chi energy will flow from ur finger tips to the other hand. make sure ur relaxed and concentrate on only for ur chi to touch the other.O and also if u cant feel it, then just rotate it in a different direction.u chould feel tingling

I have seen people moved by Chi. But I realise that this is not proof for others, just for me.

There is a video of a man in China who claims to move things with Chi. Why not. A very famous Russian Psychic moved stuff all the time. She had an amasing PK ability. In fact there are a lot of cases out there. Just not many in the public eye....and for good reason.

Hey reddreamer37. very interested in the topic of chi (qi). A close friend of mine is a student of martial arts and has told me that his master demonstrated a feat whereby he knocked over a piece of paper and then a coin, projecting qi from a distance. What are your thoughts on this?

I think it is really impressive. I have heard of it and experienced it personally on a couple of ocassions. I can't do it. Chi is material in a Chi Jing Jie. That can explain it.

Please be aware that there ate conjurers who can do such tricks as well. In their case it is usually just a mechanical device.
