  • smooth, real, beautiful

  • sigur ros <3

  • dmt

  • I have no grammar to describe this movie i just love it.....

  • 3 people don't know about movies

  • dmt is such a beautiful thing.... really had me in tears <3

  • Ach - they stole my idea! Brilliantly done, BUF

  • 3 people entered the void

  • Outstanding...

  • in the end, in spite of everything horrifying, grotesque, and seemingly unfathomable, i don't know if it's just me but i like that i always see noë's films for what they are: beautiful

  • @civilsavage I think this movie is his best, even though very few would get it at all. To me, it's not even about drugs. It's about looking down at the human world from a detached point of view and seeing it for the utter mess of sadness it is. Everybody is looking for something, and for most people it is obsession with sex.

  • @TheDesertFox the book is actually based on the tibetan book of death and that all people are looking to be reincarnated and Oscar is reborn through his sister while she is having sex.

  • This movie is not about death. Dying might be close because of the DMT you´re on. But when you´re dead, theres no body to react on DMT anymore, otherwise you´re not dead. So what happens when we´re dead is a whole different story. (hopefully)

  • what is the name of the song?

  • 3 people tripped out bad when watching this video.

  • 5:39 - 5:48

the most beautiful 9 seconds i've ever experienced.

  • @heeheheheehehe i am sorry :(

  • Just skip to 5:32

  • This song is so fucking AMAZING!!! Take my advice and take some pure MDMA crystels and some good clean home brewed GHB and put on headphones and put the volume way up and just close your eyes.. You will be freakin launched into the psyche of mankind and you can explore and define the meaning of the pscyconaut!!!

  • this movie bugged me out. not sure if thats a good or bad thing, but i'm glad i watched it anyways. probably never watching it again.

  • my favourite youtube video of all time.

  • fucking awesome song, couldnt fit better

  • @antwandaplaya You really think we know if this happens when we're dying?

  • @GhostOfAStranger1 Actually there's the idea that when you die you go through a DMT trip. DMT is stored in your Pineal gland (third eye) and it gets activated every night you go to sleep. But your pineal gland also lets out DMT under high stress and there's nothing more stressful for your brain than it shutting down. So what I'm saying is, the idea is that when you die your brain over works so hard that natural DMT is sent through you and that's what you experience before or perhaps after death.

  • @Xanict Wow, thats pretty cool I guess

  • @Xanict Actually this isnt just an idea but a medical fact. DMT is released also at birth and is believed to be responsable for near death experiences..

  • @GhostOfAStranger1 It is a medical fact that DMT is released in large doses at birth and death.. Also it is believed that DMT is the building blocks of our dreams. Actually dreams are natural accuring psycadelic experiences. One only has to analyse there own dreams to realize that they are very much simulair to a pscycadelic experience

  • @ossie19681

    It's not a fact.

  • @ossie19681 lol no its not a fact u quote who stated that as a fact..strassman didnt its his hypothetical theory it cant be proven unless they come up with technology that can see ur visuals as you die which will never happen tbh but wel never know thtz the big mystery of life and death ....

  • love Sigur ros ♥

  • @antwandaplaya DMT is pretty intense but when I was on it, I didn't see crazy skeletal worm-looking things. They did get it right when the phone rings and the colors pulsate, though. But when I had a heart attack almost kicked it, it did seem kind of like that... white, hazy, your mind is running and the only thing I was thinking of was my family and my friends and how they'd never know how much I loved them. Realizing your heart isn't beating is really fuckin' scary.

  • @antwandaplaya yes, the experiences are the same

  • whats with the outlines? anyway gaspar noe created a quide for all of us and we will remember it when we will die and maybe get sumthing better out of it becouse of it....it leaded me to reading the tibetian book of the dead witch agrees to my past OBE experiences so i kno its true..ye people i have no reason to lie and there will allways be ears witch will catch this...this is TRUE...now lets work on our karma before we go..so we could STEP UP instead of repeating it or even going further down.

  • @sketis2012 It's good that you got something out of this, because Noe said it was only ever supposed to be a brainless feast for the eyes and ears.

  • u get seamened on in this movie...

  • perfecto music

  • i was rolling, while watching this

    shit :) it's hella a trip.

  • Which Sigur Ross song/CD is that?

  • @jfabiani song is svefn-g-englar from Ágætis Byrjun

  • @jfabiani I believe it's the second song of Ágætis byrjun

  • I am way bummed this is only in 360p

  • I wanted to see this movie so bad on GHB. Anyway i went over to the rent the video and they never even heard of it! Guess i have to go and pick it up in town some day. But its deffintly on my to-see list.

  • drugs are like that, too.

  • 5 MIN 30 IS A DICK IN A VAGINA

  • @makkakman No shit.

  • By the way the scenario was writing 20 years ago after Noé read a novel from a comic illustrator, nothing to do with the actual movie....

I agree the movie is good anyway.

  • i wanna get high

  • this gives me chills. I've experience the colorful visuals once when I actually thought I had died. this movie is definitely lsd on film. makes me wonder if I actually experienced a near death experience

  • this gives me chills. I've experience the colorful visuals once when I actually thought I had died. this movie is definitely lsd on film.

  • @dropgod26 The stuff he took is called DMT, which is also released when enough stress hormones in your body are accumulated, causing a near death experience.

  • Holland on a double helix dose of LSD!!

  • i am so in love with this movie! the design is so special and the feelings you get are from another planet ;) thanks to gaspar noe for this inspiring masterpiece!

  • @MaryfknJ Watching this movie high (on cannabis) was such an amazing experience. This is a once-a-generation film.

  • @ilovecrap jaja awesome

  • A shame though that they've made Tokyo look like they imagine it to do and not what it actually looks like. The real version is so much more thrilling than those GTA looking cityscapes.

  • why did you remove the original soundtrack ? ass...

  • this isnt a movie, this kind of disturbing excitement needs a new definition!

  • I luv this movie, seriously!

  • This movie blew me away!!!

  • very special movie but i thought it was a little bit boring story

  • @rockdog123 This story is abour all the aspects of life, give it a go leter in your life , you must experience more .

  • Is this song in the movie? From what I hear of the movie, I'd think this would be a good song for the end credits.

  • what happend to the kid? he get shot or something??

  • @Trebla781 Yeah he got shot....

  • @Trebla781 yes, watch the movie, it's worth it.

  • this movie is the experience. the visuals put the mind on a whole other level.

  • That movie is like a DMT trip... but... without DMT, amazing film, is moving and impressive at the same time. CHEERS PLEASE!!!

  • love the music

  • pringles is gay!!!!

  • I work at digital domain as a compositor.. just want to let anyone that worked on this know that they should be very proud... the most impressive, ground breaking visuals and techniques i've ever seen.

  • @sjamesvfx Totally agree. Avatar looks like a video game; this looks like the realization of an artist's vision. Saw this at SXSW and it was one of the most grueling, dense, and beautiful movies I've ever seen.

  • fuckin hell, whats the name of that song? such a great music, amazingg images

  • @hellyfornication Sigur Ros - Svefn g Angler

  • ★★★★★

  • does anyone know were i can watch or buy this movie

  • @WhatNeverMind Releases January 2011 on netflix

  • @WhatNeverMind Its at pre-sale at amazon.com

  • can anyone tell me what programs they used for geneating the:

    intro-

the 3d scenes - when he has smoked the dmt

    overhead shots

    many thanks guys!

  • @badnerved1

    my best guess:

Autodesk Maya, for creating the 3d scenes

Adobe After Effects, for compositing 3d with video, and doing finishing work to the 3d, like color correction, lighting effects, and depth of field. Also used for composting and animating the titles.

Adobe Photoshop, for creating textures and creating the title graphics. A specialist was hired just to make the sparks you see when it says "ENTER THE VOID" !

plus probably a dozen or more other programs for certain things

  • @MaxaminusOne - thank you so very much dude, im just researching them now and they look awesum, just have learn them now...

  • @MaxaminusOne that's why the sparks look so incredible

  • what a great film. find it and see it.

  • I watched this high as a kite and it was the most insane trip ever

  • your song/audio ruins it - sorry - nice edit though

  • @randyj420

Dude, this is the audio they used for the original effects reel on the BUF website. If they used the original sound, the compilation would seem really disjointed.

  • @PaulDenton14 Interesting and surprising. I'd try it with the LFO Freak song used in the credits. I wasn't suggesting using the original sound in the edit - I just agree with @kuboaadv about taking away from the vibe of the film as I had just seen it.

  • It's far trippier and authentic with the original sound, I must say.

  • Ive been waiting for this movie for 1 year and it totally blows up my brain making worth the waiting. The best movie for the past couple of years.

  • this reminded me of citizen kane

  • @omgtkseth that is strange

  • this movie and 4 grams of fungi, best experience of my life!

  • Mesmerizing alright. I haven't seen 8 minutes of my life pass so fast before.

  • Beautiful and mesmerizing...

  • pro-life crap

    Everybody have right to choice

  • @wardindon You see it as a pro-life statement. I see it as a director showing us an aborted fetus. What you make of it is your own opinion.

The film is about life, death and spirits. No one can deny that this is a death.

  • pro-lifre crap

  • This song ALWAYS gets me.

  • love the music that plays with the video

  • google earth on LSD

  • @choi4816 google earth on DMT!!

  • @choi4816 watch the movie before commenting

  • @Albanez39 Well I didn't watch the movie, I just watched google earth on LSD, and this preview looks the same......except for the giant penis of course.

  • IFC has 3 wicket clips of enter the void each around 1:30

  • I could watch NOE's crane shots with Sigur Ros for hours.

  • J'ai besoin de voir ce film.

    Où avez-vous ce clip?

  • Very nice! Song title?

  • @sudsy123 it's Sigur Ros / Svefn-G-Englar

  • @sudsy123 find it from vanila sky soundtrack

  • 2:11 - Makes me want to try DMT again.

    Such an introspective experience.

  • Smoke weed erryday

  • wat

  • 5:34 a naked mole rat is entering it's lair

  • @MrM0nkeyman lol

  • @MrM0nkeyman Wtf man why did you made me look at it:P
