the idea is to defend the points... not sit in them... if you knew how to play gears of war with a team vs team competitive mindset (aka not sucking)... the whole point of gears of war online TEAMWORK DRIVEN TEAM VS ANOTHER REAL TEAM... playing with friends and random ranked matches doesn't even compare to the pros... you may be better than the average gamer... better than your friends... but based on your opinion... you can tell you're ONLY a casual gamer

the point of annex is teamplay. you can not win on your own, you can not win by killing, you can not win unless you can compete as a team. that means it's pointless to play 4 vs 3 (or any other such combination), it's pointless to play with people who don't talk or are too interested in going solo. and also you have to make sure the teams are well balanced due to the much talked about "host advantage".
