You think that's bad? My first hike ever was 18 miles, 9 miles one way. It was up a steep mountain. Got high enough to see snow in July, it was cold, lol. But it was totally worth it... at least I thought so, until I woke up the next morning, and my legs wanted me dead. Lol.

We went to the Poconos a few years ago. My dad was really excited about "Boulder Rock." We laughed and told him that's not what it was called, and he said, "Oh, yeah, Boulder Mountain." This was while he was IN the field, too, how sad is that?
