@kj762aa its the only plausable explanation given the fact that the Southwest waited its turn, its not like the flight was late or a controller messed up in the flight order or something so thats the only thing that seems to make sense...

A weird take off. The runway in SAN is certainly long enough and the 757 is a rocket, take off wise.
