I have tried a few things but I can't seem to get it to record right. The very start of the recording is ok but as it plays it gradually goes quiet as if someone is slowly turning the volume down. It quickly becomes so quiet it is unintelligible.

Anyone have any ideas?

@ma049 Try going to your recording devices, right-clicking your Mic, go to "Properties", then tab over to "Levels", and turn Microphone Boost up to about 75%.

So, what I do is, I just connect the mic, then right click the little speaker symbol in the bottom right corner, and click on recording devices. Find the microphone, then double click on it, and set "microphone boost" way up high. and also the microphoen level quite high. That's how it worked for me, sometimes it works and sometimes not .:S

Well, yeah ... I did all that, but my computer doesn't do anything with the microphone just plugged in, because it doesn't know what my intentions are. I think there must be some software that can tell my computer to use the voice from mic. and transfer it out of the speakers. Thanks!
