Je connais (et j'aime) la plupart de la musique de Dylan, mais ici Nana Mouskouri fait une chose bien differente avec cette chanson. Ou Dylan joue son prophete grognard typique, Nana commence la chanson dans un ton presque timide, comme une mère anxieuse; peu a peu elle devient la voix d'une apocalypse approchante, un oracle de Delphes chantant le fin du monde. Meme la partie orchestrale est portée par un rythme fatal, ressemblant ce rythme qu'on trouve dans le Bolero de Ravel. Magnifique.

je prie Dieu chaque jour de me donner encore la chance de rencontrer cette grande dame avant de mourir . je l'ecoute depuis plus de 33 ans et maintenant j'ai 39 ans et j'ai encore des larmes aux yeux en l'ecoutant chanter . Nana je donnerai tout pour te voir et te toucher te parler et d'ecouter toi chanter une chanson a l'occasion de cette rencontre . merci Nana pour tout ce que tu as fait pour la france.
