i beat this game 3 times 1st time with bulbasaur, 2nd with charmander, 3rd with squirtle. on the teams i had pikachu, pidgey, geodude, and 2 johto starters. i know some of you will disagree with me on this, but i think my teams were the best. the reason i think that is cause along with a kanto starter, i had 2 from johto and i had a pikachu, an electric type thats ash's main pokemon, geodude, a rock type immune to electric attacks and pidgey, flying type who can fly me right to another town

Kootra did make this game. its so obvious that he got a time machine, made up a brand new name, spent a long time making this game but saved it so it will look like he really was working on it, puts it in flash drive, goes back to the past, post it as his old/new name, changed his name AGAIN, and went home knowing what he did. That is kootras dark secret.

I was six when the games came out in 1996, And I got hooked and the games as well as the show.I was going through my stuff rencently as I was moving out of my parents house, And I found my original pokemon blue cartridge I bought when I was 7, I can't even remember how many times I've played that game, I stopped buying the games in 2003. And I haven't bought a pokemon game since, Mainly because the newer games don't look as fun as the originals from 1996-2002. Should I buy one of the newer ones?

@DMDS1991 Don't do it. Leave yourself with those wonderful memories, or even go back and play the originals from time to time if you really feel like it. Of course it's purely up to you whether you buy and play them or not, but I made the mistake of playing every one despite them getting progressively worse. Now I don't want to even play Yellow. Oh well.

@DMDS1991 Definitley buy Black and White. Though you may find the new designs lacking, the fact that you can't catch a single "old" pokemon until you beat the game is a massive plus in my opinion. 150 completely new pokemon means you can relive the magic of surprise that we got in Red Blue.

And while the designs are not as good as some other pokemon games, they gameplay is 10 times better. They really perfected the battle system in this Generation V, don't listen to they hipster pokemon fans.

@TehGamerNinja tough call. the community is REALLY spread far and wide these days. i personally enjoy the classics, preferring gens 1/2, but theres a lot of younger kids who would probably watch gen 4/5 as a walkthrough for themselves. hacks are also a good bet because while people may not know to look for them, if they stumble upon your vids they'll be intrigued as its like theyre watching a whole new game. in the end you should go with your favorite, because you'll get pokemon fans either way.
