RON PAUL IS GOING TO BE PROSECUTED BY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! ITS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO CALL AMERICAN PEOPLE INVADERS AND INITIATERS OF WARS.
RON PAUL SAID THE USA INVADES COUNTRIES AND STARTS WARS, WHICH GIVES USA A BAD REPUTATION AROUND THE WORLD , THEREFORE IT IS CONSIDERED A CRIME . A US CITIZEN WHO
WAS BORN IN USA CANT GO AGAINST GOVERNMENT POLICIES WHICH MIGHT TREATEN THE FUTURE
@jefri53 You need to audit them to know the extent of crimes and gain hard undisputable evidence and make sure those most guilty get what they deserve.
@icemanisdangerous , bro. auditing them is like auditing ENRON !! By virtue of the fact that the FEDs had been scamming USA for years and only now debated in congress.... they shud be arrested by Homeland security and interrogated in Guantanamo !! Only this time, the interrpgation shoud be LIVE since it affects every citizen.
The truth is, there r many still in congress that are under the payroll of those who benefits from the existence of the FEDs.
Ron Paul needs to do what he believes he needs to do. He should do these things to support the message he delivers. Otherwise he is nothing but a mouth. Of course, distancing yourself from the conspiracy nuts would mean distancing himself from his base. To listen to the man, I would say he understands enough to be taken seriously, regardless what you want to call the people who he makes sense to.
Even as a liberal, I like this guy. His ideas are wholeheartedly his own and not influenced by political party. Any administration would be stronger with Ron as an advisor on economic issues. However, as a liberalish person, I don't agree with him in enough of the issues to support him as a presidential candidate.
i think the mney is going towards a "new world order" obama is creating chaos by having feds control everything, soon they will tell us how much we can make, profit, thus keeping everyone poor. and the corporate america will govern this country. it is time we do what honduras did, and Iran. kick these socialist batsards out, get a new party in. Democrats and republicans no more!!!! a new party!!! time to major reform. and close the borders. they wanna come in usa???? get proper documents.!!!!11
It's so congress and America can "open up their books" (their being the Federal Reserve) and see what the hell they are doing with all our money. Currently their books are not transparent and they can hide a lot from us.
The Federal Reserve is part of a corrupt Privet Banking Empire. Edward Griffin wrote a book called "The Creature from Jekyll Island". He explains exactly what the Federal Reserve is, who they represent and how they work. Google: the creature from jekyll island audio lecture. You can listen to it. Also; Lyndon. LaRouche. Jr. has the best Plan of Action to end the Federal Reserve System and take there power away once and for all. Google LaRouchePac Home
Hayek is also a good link. I also heard during an interview also Milton Friedman was in favor of of ending the Fed, e.g. not only the Austrian school. Perhaps some with Cato and Von Muses can hold joint meetings on shared topics. Cato could also invite Thomas Woods to discuss his book. I have not really read Woods attacking Cato, unlike some others.
Paul's media appearances has improved a lot. He just needs at times to use pauses more often and eventually get some training to optimize.
I think Friedman wanted to print money at a constant rate, i.e., 3% per year, instead of adjusting it to speed up or slow down the economy (what Bernanke refers to as the countercyclical theory). I think this is why they call him a monetarist libertarian. Mises and Rothbard want to let the market choose its money, so it could be gold or any commoditiy. Rothbard also wrote an essay on how he hates Friedman because Friedman was very socialist in some cases. Rockwell had it on his blog.
Only Paul's second appearance at CATO, hopefully more can follow. Charles Koch, the funder was actually a student of Murray Rothbard, who played an important role with Cato before their fallout. There are some bad blood between Cato and the Von Mises institute, and I think Paul with his kindness and never an attack personally, would be able to bring at least some of Cato and Von Mises together.
It is time to end the Federal Reserve System!!!!!!!!
Banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. - Thomas Jefferson
All I'm going to say to each of you that's attacking my views is this: the reason libs never get support from your "moderate" American is because they don't constructively disagree w/people and attack them instead w/insults etc. which is similar to what you're doing here. If that's the kind of diplomatic "solutions" you're expecting to right America or what the Founding Fathers wanted, you're wrong because we've lived it w/Carter + now Obama. Stop insulting and maybe you'll gain support.
You may think that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank that our US Constitution forbids has money, but you would be wrong: Just like the empty hallows of Fort Knox, the FED has swapped all its treasury paper for all these worthless toxic assets that wiped out the banking system. If we get a Ron Paul styled audit of the FED, you will see it holds no value at all. This is also why Germany Prime Minister last week pissed on the FED: They know it is broke & Germany wants its gold bullion back!
The FED & Treasury are the purveyors of US T Bonds. But for many years, big banks like JP Morgan & Goldman Sachs have sold T Bonds that they had no authority to sell; which is essentially counterfeiting those bonds: Selling short Bonds that dont even exist
The FCC had all records on criminals like Paulson, Geithner, Ruben, Summers & others engaging in that illegal activity. But all the records of those illegal trades were destroyed when WTC 7 was brought down by thermite on 9/11!
Latvia, which is a major client of these corrupt Wall Street banks, is undergoing a major money crisis; they are currently infecting the Swedish banks, (who had to renationalize their banking system); which will soon affect Western Euro Banks; & this infectious agent will then come back to America. So look for the corrupt banking oligarchy to ask for another 15 trillion at the end of this year! At that point, the world, including America, will have to admit the US dollar is completely worthless
Agreed ... It's all going to end with a BANG !!! as it did with collapse of the lomard system.
Buy some gold & silver and hang on ... its hard for me to know if this will blow before we go through hyper-inflation ... but one thing is for sure ...
"The world, including America, will have to admit the US dollar is completely worthless."
All the congressman that co-sponsored are really just throwing Ron Paul a bone. They will NEVER pass this law. The Federal Reserve will NEVER show their books. I hate it... But i'm sorry to say, criminals will never prosecute themselves. P.S. I like Ron's voice. It's reasurring.
How shallow are we Americans? He has to have a better voice? look better? Better delivery - how about substance and what he has to say. Spread the word via email to your friends to lobby your politicians in your state to AUDIT the FED and then END the FED

I agree with 'whereisourliberty'. I like what Ron Paul says but his speech and delivery techniques are horrible. Someone with Ron Paul's ideas and a better speaking voice and look would go a long way. If Ron Paul wants the maximum coverage for his message he should spend time developing his delivery skills so that his message is transmitted more smoothly. You could have all the information in the world, but if you're no good at transmitting it it's of little use.
read his book then. People who look towards the messenger and not the message have been brainwashed by hollywood and lame TV shows. What's funny is that the opposite is true about Obama. He has great presentation abilities for his lies.
Hello 'xdream1'. I did read his book. It's great. I've also read all the major works in Austrian Free Market Economics and various books promoting a similar foreign policy to Ron Paul's. I don't see where your problem is. I fully support Ron Paul and would vote for him if he's nominated a party's presidential candidate. So, to put it in your terms, I do look to the message. I also look at everything else though. Everything I said is true. Better delivery skills WOULD help Ron Paul. It's politics
Also, why mention Obama? If anything you've proved my point. Obama spreads his doctrine of hope through masterful speeches and orations. Even though Obama's ideas are a false hope, people are listening. My point exactly. Now imagine someone with Obama's orator skills and Ron Paul's message--brilliance.
true... presentation is everything. And we are living in an american idol world. I'm in advertising so i know... I just hate how people pick at Dr. Paul. So i'm a bit defensive. So, who can we get?? Ventura? nah... i like him but... there has to be someone out there...

I agree w/Ron on a lot of issues but sometimes he gets a tad too Isolationist for my taste. While I understand America SHOULD focus more internally on its problems and tune out the rest of the world, doing that isn't practical and would create more enemies of current supporters of our country around the world in reality. It's a tricky line to walk I don't think Ron's understood fully. Otherwise, I think he's my man for 2012 unless Palin shows me something.
You must distinguish between isolationism and non-interventionism. They are not the same. Ron Paul is a non-interventionist. He opposes meddling in the INTERNAL affairs of other nations. He does not oppose diplomatic talks and trade with other nations. This is wise policy. It's what the Founding Fathers advocated and it would benefit us greatly still today. Advice of this type is timeless.

I could agree w/that but when he talks about pulling all of our troops out of strategic places in the world where we are asked to be, such as Korea, I don't agree w/that and it WOULD make a foe out of an ally like South Korea, for instance.
Go read another book which documents what happened with the Shah of Iran. "Syndrome of Control" It will tell U how everything is documented & U can do the research yrself. BLOWBACK is real. It's the American "FOREIGN POLICY" that makes us unsafe. THINK the rest of the world REALLY wants us in their backyard. DO U WANT CHINA RUSSIA KOREA in your backyard. R WE AKSING THEM 2 COME ON OVER? What makes U think their people want us there? We are unsafe b/c of an Interventionist Foreign Policy.
Hello 'brewersrule1978'. I'm glad you agree with me. But having troops in 130 sovereign nations around the world IS meddling in their internal affairs. It makes no difference if a country asks us to or not. We shouldn't interfere in internal affairs of nations other than our own. So, by you agreeing with me, you should then disagree with the comment you just made. If we interfered in only our internal affairs, then S. Korea wouldn't need our protection. These problems don't arise in a vacuum.

Um, how about the WAR IN IRAQ! Jessum bisquits and gravy, bro. You're kidding me right? Go to amazon online, and do a search called "blowback". It's a book. Who bombs other countries? We do. Who tortures? We do. They hate us because we kill their families. They hate us because we build military bases on their land! Our military is in 130 nations!!!! OMG I can't take it anymore. One example: THE SHAH OF IRAN!

Ah yes, a book. That's your evidence, eh? And were the people in your book prosecuted? I don't recall hearing anything about this book in the NYT and they would LOVE to paint soldiers as murderers. All I see is someone relying on rumors and not a shred of concrete evidence. BTW, Jimmy Carter was responsible for the Shah of Iran mess, NOT military troops. Go to Europe if you wanna blame America for everything. Ron Paul isn't about that from what I can tell.
Can't argue with someone who is still sleeping...that would be brewersrule1978...but trying to wake them up is not bad...more and more people are waking up. I think that some congressmen are throwing RP a bone too...mostly the Republicans...trying to do something now to make themselves look fiscally conservative.
exactly robotsworld. You can bring a horse to water... they are throwing a bone, but more and more of us are forming, and calling... I told my congressperson this morning that they will be fired if they don't start listening to us.... And I can do it... I'm in advertising! hahaha

I'm in advertising! hahaha

Blue Tunisia! good freaking job!!! yeah! We do have power. Once we stop and refuse to believe the old hype, like: My vote doesn't count. I'm just one person what can I do?? We can never fight the maching. Bullshit! A candybar can stop a car. A rock can stall and engine. Just keep doing what you're doing. Inform one person a day about LIBERTY and FREEDOM! They're popular!

Ron Paul makes far too much sense to be elected president. Let's hope more people know about him and let's hope he runs in 2012.
