  • thank you for sharing this!! It's pretty good!

  • I always become a fan at the wrong time. I became a Rush fan like a week after they hit Ohio on thier tour supporting their most recent album and the same thing has happened for Iron Maiden and U2.

  • rush can suck my balls

  • @TheGavio93 ha ha you're cool.

  • @RushRules4 well its true. the fact that rush sucks hardcore cock, and that im cool. U2 totally pwns rush

  • Keep the comments about the video please lads, have ur little rant somewer else.

  • I love this song!

I write lots of words, but I can not ...

Has many elements that transform it into a true magnificence!

    MAGNIFICENT!!!!!

  • Pop have great songs... Gone, If god will//; mofo (great song live) starring at the sun; PLEASE (Probally one of the best songs from U2); Wake up Dead man... I cant name an album with this number of great songs since achtung baby.. maybe NLOTH...

  • As an opened minded musician, the best album since Achtung Bay is POP. For some guys Passengers is the best album What can I say? What a shitty taste for music that some people have. Perhaps they should go listen to opera or some shit... LOL.

  • About the charts..who's buying music these days?Joshua Tree and Achtung baby sell because back then buying the album was the only way to listen to it, today I just download it.About the dub, the voice is just process with delay and some chorus, like The fly and zoostation live with destruction. The song has a backing track to play live, like every song by U2 since zoo tv tour, even new years day has it. nloth is the best album from the last decade, it really is.Barcelona here I go!!!

  • A boring song by a band 15 years past their sell-by date. Last interesting thing they did was "Passengers". I threw my copy of "Pop" in the bin, and haven'y baught anything by them again. Like many rock bands, they just didn't know when to stop.

  • Your so wrong chizulch that u think ur right! Obviously u were never a fan and just 'baught' their music when u were young cos ur friends did. if ya don't like it keep away i'm sure bono will get over it eventually!

  • Dear pisstaker247,

thank you for sharing your remarkable thoughts with us all. Judging by your writing style I'd say you are about 9yrs old. Learn to spell, you witless moron.

  • Dear chizulch4,

Read your own comments before you talk to me about spelling you dumb fuck!

  • Dear pisstaker247,

feeling a bit sensitive, are we? My spelling is generally correct. Whereas your spelling and grammer is frequently incorrect. For example: you spell the the word "bought" as "baught". Tut! Tut! So not only are you incapable of discerning the difference between innovative and mediocre music, but you also can't write decent English. Sad.

  • Oh dear... chizulch4, Listen up you lowlife brainfuck: you spelled BAUGHT in your previous comment, pisstaker7 especially for you put it in " "'s to indicate. Sad? A tragedy! What about HAVEN'Y? Do I need to copy/paste your comment? Not only I can't stand the shittaking grammer nazis like yourself, but a grammer internet "professor" who spells wrong himself is beyond anything. Please delete your account and save yourself from a humiliating embarrassment.

  • Dear withvengencewashere, well done. You really put me in my place there. But tell me - are you a fan of the artistically moribund U2?

  • I'm not a fan. Few songs are good, like "Magnificent", that's why I'm here viewing this video. I also like "Hold me, thrill me, kiss me". Man why do you have such a personal grudge against U2?

  • I first saw U2 in concert in a small bar beside my house in September 1980. By then I'd already bought their first single "11O'Clock Tick Tock". After that I bought all their albums as they were released up untill "POP". I don't have a grudge against them, I just feel disappointed in their output since the mid '90s. For me, "Achtung Baby" and "Zooropa" are their high point. It's just my personal feeling as a collecter and listener to rock music for over thirty five years.

  • lucky you how much did it cost to see them in the bar?

  • Can't remember how much it cost as there wasn't even a ticket. you just paid at the door. Probably about £2 or something like that. The bar was called The Showboat (in Waterford city, Ireland) and it's still standing, though it gave up hosting original live gigs in the mid-'80s. Belfast punk band Stiff Little Fingers played there also.

  • oh thanx very cool!!!

  • Punctuation goes inside of a quotation... in your face, biotch.

  • ...and my fist goes up your ass, bitch. (Or as you spell it "biotch").

  • Yes, although once great they're well past the sell-by at this stage, I wish they'd just fuck off now.

  • perfect

  • excellent!

  • I really hope they do not DUB during their concert. Great artistic sound but I want to rock and flow with the music. BONO IS GOD READ THE BIBLE!!!!!

  • U2 <3

  • fantastic performance!!...great song..up the dubs!!!!!!!!

  • Magnificent u2<<<<

  • for the life of me, I cannot understand how this song charted outside the UK Top 40...I've heard its because there was a problem regarding the distribution of the cd single release because it couldn't possibly be on the quality of the song, which is ethereal, uplifting, transcending.

I'm outraged at its dismal performance in the charts! OUTRAGED!!

  • its doing terrible on the U.S. charts too. It's a shame, this song is better than Vertigo, too.

  • Finally Bono's voice sounds realy good.

    Good job guys!

  • I think they're starting to warm up to playing this song live. Past performances have looked tentative at best, but from this one, looks like they've found it.

  • Can't believe forgot to mention how good they all look. Bono

    you make my heart race.

  • Agree this is even better than the album - U2 breathes real life into their songs in front of an audience. Glad they changed out the keyboard fills after "leave such a mark" "heal such a scar" and let Edge do it on guitar. September in Chicago will be heaven!

  • This version is a great improvement on the album version which was a good song but in need of more punch. Will see them on Croker in July - can't wait!
