In my opinion, Vangelis has written a beautiful and transcendent music for the Conquest of Paradise, and this remix is NOT comparable with the original version, because this won't be played in a disco or in a house-party.

So, the conclusion: I think, the version of Vangelis is a lot better then this...

Ok, have mixed emotions about this one.

I think you should have kicked your version in a bit sooner and emphasise on the leads since they are somewhat dull and don't do the song much justice.

Otherwise an interesting and dancey take on a great song, but do try to actually make it stand up for itself a bit more.

You are right. Things changed at 1:50. Not bad but not the right feel for the song.  Check out the you tube video of the 6 women rescuing over 100 horses in the Netherlands. That video, along with this song, will bring tears to your eyes.
