  • first youtube video i saw with no 'dislikes'

  • lol hahah

  • practice makes perfect. :P

  • brain fart

  • Dude You have money behind You.

  • Lmfao i loved how this video started. hahahaha

  • wouldnt you need to be using tracks with the same bpm then?

  • Hey J, why have your setup so high? isn't that uncomfortable?

  • @yoitsgiook I see... nevermind, I realized you were kneeling HAHA

  • @yoitsgiook he is kneeling XD

  • whats that mixer? is it rane or pioneer?

  • any tips for someone with a useless turntable?

  • I do this for a few tracks because some of them start the vocals on the second bar, which doesn't give me much time to mix them in, my turntables are torqueless junk and it's very hard to drop it just at the right time, is it just a case of account for the speed up time? Thanks for the vid!

  • YOUR FUNNY BUT COOL!

  • I think he means, Perfect pratice makes perfect :)

  • You seem to have got everything when it comes to audio , but you're still only filming your tutorials in 360p quality...

U should really consider getting a better camera!

  • practice makes perfict

  • your tutors are very good and they help me a lot for me a dj beginner :)

but my english isn't perfect because i'm from germany ;) Can u write the Songs in the info bar or into the video please??

  • quit making it look so easy. 8)

  • just wondering since you have used so much equipment j, whats your favourite cd decks and mixer?

  • how much gear do you have.

  • "Don't forget to buy vegetables on Tuesday."

Seriously, I don't want to know what you write on your vinyls.

  • I enjoy them all, however this vid is one of my favorites from you. Just love your playfulness here. Thanks

  • WHAT ARE THOSE SPEAKERS????...i want to buy them but i dont know what they are called...HELPPPP....PLEASEEEE...can i ask your full speaker setup? thank you ><...

  • @wickedman007 ----> they are called : KRK rockit

  • @DJSTR8CUT, no they're NOT KRK Rokits - they are Koolsound Pearls.

  • @wickedman007 pearl 5 from kool sound

    j

  • @wickedman007 KRK Rokit 5

  • "don't forget to buy vegetables for tuesday" :D

    btw, cool intro.

  • Thanks for the amazing tutorials! I've got t.60's stanton and a behringer mixer yesterday and i'm learning lots of things with u! Yay!!! i'm very happy :D

  • Loved that intro.

  • Make a hardstyle and jumpstyle vid please :)

  • Don't forget to buy vegetables on Tuesday...now I know why I fail at grocery shopping...lack of vinyl reminders. :( Would you, could you on a hill? Would you, could you with Lee Mills? Would you, could you with J's silly hat? Would you, could you bang a cat? Omg I'm fucking Dr. Seuss thanks to your vids. We find inspiration the oddest places. :) Practice makes perfect so practice and enjoy...yeah we solved that dilemma. I love the randomness to these vids. :)

  • practice makes perfect!

  • lmfao good intro

  • "Don't Forget 2 Buy Vegatables On Tuesday" LOL

  • that was a great intro

  • that's what i do anyway lol

  • I think timing the beat on uptempo's is easier could you please also do some examples on lower bpm.

  • practice makes perfect ? .... gr8 vid any way xD

  • the decks high enough for you J? haha

  • @Ezekielpurger haha I was thinking the same.

  • I must remember to buy some vegetables this Tuesday!

  • Correcting the pitch if its a tiny bit out isn't always the answer - you could have the pitch set correctly but the cue was slightly off, I tend to just use my finger on the vinyl but then everyone has a different take on it!

  • that was a long brain fart

  • hey J,can you teach us how to beatmatch on midi controllers like reloop digital jockey etc.using a tracktor pro and Vdj or something similar...because as what i have observed is that many people nowadays don't use vinyl...thanks J..

  • bunging it in with the volume up is something I never do because of the risk of needle skipping and possible miss releases (not in time) Thats why I think fading it in while its already playing might be a better idea. I

  • @audioh0lic same here

  • this works with house, hardcore etc really well because you can set a 4 beat loop on deck B, get it ready and then right when a significant change happens on deck A you hit play on deck B. this essentially simulates what you did in this video, but with a controller, or cdj. and because you have a loop sey you have more flexibility, especially if you have a loop set in a perfect spot in a song

  • really good, i do this with my midi controller, but i count the beats and when both songs hit First beat i bring the song in xDD

  • Love the way your going back to simple tutorials again, just principles :~)

  • j, how much gear do you own lol. i can think of 2 turntables 2 mixers and several models of cdjs. pioneers, denon, and more.

  • @DJtheory28 that ive seen in your videos*

  • lmao he was joking

  • practice makes perfect.

  • haha practice makes perfect if u wanna know
