I do this for a few tracks because some of them start the vocals on the second bar, which doesn't give me much time to mix them in, my turntables are torqueless junk and it's very hard to drop it just at the right time, is it just a case of account for the speed up time? Thanks for the vid!

Correcting the pitch if its a tiny bit out isn't always the answer - you could have the pitch set correctly but the cue was slightly off, I tend to just use my finger on the vinyl but then everyone has a different take on it!

bunging it in with the volume up is something I never do because of the risk of needle skipping and possible miss releases (not in time) Thats why I think fading it in while its already playing might be a better idea. I

this works with house, hardcore etc really well because you can set a 4 beat loop on deck B, get it ready and then right when a significant change happens on deck A you hit play on deck B. this essentially simulates what you did in this video, but with a controller, or cdj. and because you have a loop sey you have more flexibility, especially if you have a loop set in a perfect spot in a song
