Use your video as a tutorial to get my petals "even". Practice, practice, practice.

  • i always use store-bought henna, and my problem is that its always very thick and hard to squeeze out of the cone....my designs are never that smooth :(

  • @425msn premade cones aren´t very high in quality, most of the time the paste has been stored too long and is lumpy when you want to use it. The best is self mixed henna or paste that you can buy from a trustworthy henna artist online, some do sell thier paste. Always knead the cone before using it.

  • i luv it... im getting my henna kit from my friend in india n i cant wait for it but im not the best drawer n i hope it looks as good as urs

  • Very nice...your so good.

  • To Bad Im Allergic To Henna :(

  • @xEVILxTOASTx do you have G6PD? If you did you would also be allergic to broad beans (fava beans) and mothballs.

Otherwise, you are probably allergic to black henna... not really henna at all but black hair dye sometimes used by 'artists' for body art. It is common to have an allergic reaction to it, involving blistering and irritation of the skin... a chemical burn. It is also really bad for your liver.

Natural henna is very rare to be allergic to, and reactions are typically very very mild.

  • @HennaOasis oh? so you can use black hair dye instead? is that less expensive? so it work?

  • @milokins777 did you see the part about blistering and irritation? It also increases your chance of liver cancer. If you develop an allergy (much more common if you apply it to skin) then you will from then on be allergic to dark hair dyes, dark clothing dyes, newsprint... basically it would make your life very miserable. Please do not consider using this poison on your skin. google 'black henna scar' so see what you could have for the rest of your life if you use it.

  • @milokins777 no you can NOT use black hair dye instead. It is a chemical poison and will cause chemical burns on your skin as well as liver and kidney damage and increased risk of cancer. You should not put black hair dye or any hair dye directly on your skin. Henna is not very expensive to use at all.

  • That sucks!!!!! :(

  • Not my bag, but still pretty cool.

  • hi were do you get the mehndi cone from?

  • @sulia12456 I make it fresh myself. I have kits available for sale if you visit the site listed just below the video

  • @sulia12456 u get it from indian or pakistani stores, but dnt buy any black pastes, they contain chemicals, the black colors not good for skin (read more @ wikipedia)

  • Oh my gosh that's so prettyyyyyyy!!!!

  • I bought a henna kit but for some reason a tube did not come along with it so I can't put it on. :(

  • @NkaujNag they are easy to make.. my beginner's booklet has instructions on how to make one. go to my website, which is listed just under the video. only $4

  • Got a henna kit for Christmas from my sister, I'm excited to use it, but I'm afraid to too,

  • THIS IS VERY GORJUZ :)

  • hey great video, the music is awsome, and the desing it's even better. i live in mexico and i was hopeing if you do deliveries of your kits to mexico city. thanks

  • @sotelito6 Yes I do deliver internationally, the kit is $12AU and $10AU for shipping via air mail. If you wish to make a purchase send me an email to info (at) hennaoasis (dot) com (dot) au and I can send you a paypal invoice.

  • It's simple but looks detailed!!! Luv the design!! :D

  • what is the best henna to purchase, im looking for a a really nice dark brown, thats the kind of colour i like for henna, please reply

  • @afgtina you should mix up the henna yourself to get best results from natural henna, or buy some made up paste from a local artist. Avoid anything you can buy premade from a store as it will be either a) stale or b)full of nasty ingredients. You can buy quality henna powder from many artists. I sell a mini henna kit with professional grade ingredients for $12 plus shipping.

  • O Woman of the house,

Make these fair hands beautiful with henna.

  • what is henna made out of?

  • Love this video! It's easy to understand. Hope you don't mind but I've copied your design, although I had to pause the video quite a few times and it took me nearly an hour!

  • That is bad ass

  • hermoso :)

  • how long does it take to dry?

  • awesoooooooomeeeee!! in 9 minz!! Gr8! it wil take me half n hour!

  • I like this video its a good one

  • this is OWSM

  • how pretty!

  • BEAUTIFUL work!!

    What are these songs?

  • How are you getting the lighter shade of henna in you design? are you smearing the existing henna?

  • @peacemaker181 I use just a tiny bit of henna to 'smear' in the lighter shading. Sometimes I use the existing henna, but that can make it look messy. Apply just the lightest bit of pressure with the cone to get a tiny bit out.

  • @HennaOasis thank you! : )

Also do you use anything like dextrose to enhance your henna? Any recommendations or ideas for where I can get good quality henna?

  • @peacemaker181 you can get my beginners guide to henna booklet for $4 as a pdf download from my shop. (see the comments that go with the video for the web site)

I also sell small kits with basically everything you need for professional quality paste.

  • Holy Cow that's amazing!! Do you do henna professionally and if so; where do you work? If it's in Cali i will visit for sure! =-)

  • @Musicianita yes I do, and sorry I'm in Australia! Gold Coast to be exact.

  • Do you let it dry and wipe it off or what happens when it dries?

  • @InSaNiTyReiGnZ you let it dry and leave it on for several hours, then brush of the dried paste.

  • are the henna cones good to use ? or are the powders better ?

  • @ZamanNamaz6 powders are usually better as cones must be freshly made to be any good. Generally premade cones will be too stale, or contain preservatives and/or chemical dyes. It is possible if there is a supplier near you that they can send you fresh paste but otherwise, powders are your best bet. Again, get from a quality supplier to avoid stale henna. Hennatribe com has a suppliers page, all are quality.

  • No, I bought it from Indian Shop.?? And I already shook the thing.

  • Ok, i tried to do this, but it didn't work I squeezed the thing but the henna doesn't want to come out and when i squeeze too hard the bootle breaks, any tips on how to apply properly, because I can do the desgins its just that the zqeezign thing is hard please giv me any tips.

  • @xxx1ezzie1xxx are you misxing the henna paste yourself? either way, it sounds like either the paste is too thick or needs to be strained to prevent clogging. To make it thinner, just add more of whatever liquid you used.

  • Fantastic job! What kind of henna is this and what kind of instrument did you use for it? I have a small bottle with a pin thin spout and I like it, but I love what you are using and the smaller details that you make! :)

  • thats just

    AMAZING

    hey

where did u buy the henna

i kinda wanna do that sorta thing tooo

  • its so pretty

  • henna's are awesomeee :3 and 100% natural. and when you have an awesome artist like this giving you your henna, you have a kick ass temporary tattoo for like a week and a half. some times two. (:

I think.... on my wedding day i might include some henna's with the bridesmaids and stuff its just... so awesome.

  • gorgeous!!! Can anyone get a henna drawing done or is it only for celebrations? I'm going to India soon and am interested in maybe getting a little done. Also is it pricey to get it done? It just looks gorgeous.

  • whoa! she did this to herself? crazy good:)

  • tattoos are retarded

  • PERFECT!!!! :) LOVE IT! it's really AMAZING! i lived in Morrokko 6 years and i know a real good 'henna' but my mom don'T know how to make 'henna' :D hahaha

  • wow this amazing i love it you must be a great artist

  • whats the name of the first song? not the sitar one the one thats like a drum

  • whats henna? and is it permanent?

  • @daiblo1234 nah it isnt permanent it washes off in like 2 weeks

  • the second piece of music sounds like im sat on PIA! id rather mute!

  • It is so weird that all the intricate designs you do don't seem to link, but when it's finished it just seems to fit. Truly incredible, I wish I could do stuff like this.

  • Beautiful , I loved the music too .

  • ohh gott this is soo nice i like this

  • henna is toxic

  • @blueberryxmuffins 'black henna' is toxic, but it's not real henna. Real henna is safer than most cosmetics you buy at a store. Real henna leaves a red-brown stain, black 'henna' leaves a black/dark grey stain. Real henna is a plant product, black 'henna' contains hair dye and is petroleum derived. Black 'henna' is banned in most countries.

If you or someone you know has had a bad experience with black 'henna', I am sorry that someone deceived you into believing that henna is dangerous.

  • I know nothing about Henna, but from a painter's point of view I love your shading. I wanna get covered in henna now.... it looks like so much fun.

  • maldito loco

  • Love this music, what is it?

  • i love it!

  • i did henna for the first time today and it was so stringy!! :( did i make it to dense do you think?

  • @ohhhthatslyksowierd perhaps, but henna powders grown in different regions have different consistencies. Some are quite stringy. I mix two together because I like a little bit of stringyness, but not too much!

  • good breath control, steady hand, nice hand stroke. this artist surely a PRO. nice design too

  • This is truly amazing youa re indeed an artist <3

but where can i buy henna what kinds of stores?

and is there a natural black henna peope are saying the ones they have allergic reactions to is not real henna

    anyways AMAZING JOB!

do you have after pictures of what this looked like when you took of the dried henna?

  • @xOxdeganxOX @xOxdeganxOX that is true that people often have reactions to black 'henna'. Alternatively try jagua or henna and indigo may give a darker stain initially, but my understanding is that indigo does not last as long, and generally requires a separate application. I could be wrong on that though as I have no experience with it, just remembering other's comments.

You can buy quality henna powders from the suppliers listed on hennatribe. good luck!

  • @xOxdeganxOX the only natural substance that gives a black stain is called jagua. it is a bit pricey, but is far far safer than black 'henna' which contains hair dye and isn't safe at all to use. Many people won't have an obvious reaction to black 'henna', but it does affect your body in other ways too. It is associated with increased incidence of liver cancer for example.

More obvious reactions are blisters, irritation etc that occurs about two weeks later.

  • this is so beautiful i want to learn how to do this and be at your level of style and control

  • im 28 and ive loved henna designs since i was a little girl! i used to buy the henna hair dye from a local tobacco shop. i no longer live in that town anymore so i dont partake anymore. this video is amazing to me. keep up the great work and keep the music going!! lol! Fae

  • I really like this kind of design , ive put henna last friday , but i like more your design :)

  • I love that design.... it's beautiful.

  • lovely madam.gr8 work.i also luv the background music

  • I`d love to have someone paint my hands, I loooooove henna but I can only paint one hand my left hand always turns out better than my right cause I`m right handed and I have no one to do it for me : ( love your video!!!!!

  • Very nice job Henna Oasis!

  • Very beautiful.. To bad im allergic

  • @superbedst chances are you are not allergic to natural henna, just the black junk that is sometimes used instead. Natural henna stains red brown. there is a substance that stains black that is sometimes incorrectly called henna and it is very common to have a reaction to it.

  • @superbedst So-called "Black" henna is usually chemicals made from coal tars that many people have awful skin reactions to. The powder looks brown and when water is added, a brown pool forms on top. Real "black" henna is a mix of henna and indigo. The powder is green like matcha and smells like hay or frozen peas. When water is added, a bluish pool forms on top. Allergic reactions are rather rare, from what I read, with natural henna and indigo.

  • henna`s are so shit

  • @danielcollins1993 so why exactly did you watch it?

  • @HennaOasis

Either he's a troll, or meant to say "Henna's the shit." which means the complete opposite of what we think he said.

  • @HennaOasis I didn't watch it i got sent the link to this video paused it and commented on my opinion of hennas :) so please think before commenting a response to mine
