@ForViewingOnly on the bottom right there will be a little symbol that looks like a keyboard. (1:11) you touch that and it brings up the touchpad virtual keyboard. i hope that answered your question :) that should allow you to type.
Do you leave your laptop plugged in all day? Are you taking the battery out of your laptop and plugging the ac directly in while you are away so that you don't ruin the battery?
@shermeme Usually i do leave the ac plugged in all day. i dont take out the battery but i do enable Sony's VAIO battery care. VAIO battery care has two modes. the first charges the battery to 50% when it is plugged in all day (thats what i have it set to). and 80% is for when you take your comp. off the charger but you occasionally plug it in. i could take out the battery if i wanted to though.
@ntc039468 ok, I will check my HP's settings... I just ordered a TP and I defiantly want to use Splashtop and I just want to find the best way to keep my battery in shape... Thanks a lot!!!
@shermeme Sounds great!! glad i could help. glad you could get a touchpad. i overclocked mine to 1.5Ghz it wasn't too hard and i did notice applications ran faster. precentral is where you will find questions about the touchpad.
@gamez101 Lol. I have a Core i7 Quad Core. 4 Cores each with 2 threads = 8 Cores. as for the mouse it was connected to the laptop and i have yet to find a way to pair it with the touchpad sorry. the mouse i use is the Microsoft mouse with the blue laser.
Thanks for the video. So how would you enter text on a Word document on your laptop using the Touchpad's virtual keyboard?
