My dads an 2001 intrigue 3.5L v6 shortstar has 310K on it and shes still running strong! Myself i got a 97 Cuttlas Supreme 3.1L v6 old grannny beater :P
I've got a '99 with just over 149K on it. Still gets 32 MPG at 74 MPH, and plenty of power to suit my needs. Only issue is brakes: It seems to go through them much faster than it should. I find myself replacing all four disks and pads every 18 months or so. I do it myself, so it's not too expensive at around $150 for parts and a 6-pack of beer for labor.
Hey, it's my car's twin. Only thing mine lacks is a sunroof and I'm happy I don't have one. Mine doesn't handle like it used to. Just turned 100k miles and my passenger rear strut blew out all of the oil. I plan on fixing mine since it handled pretty well when it was newer.
Mine is a 2001 and just put 210,000 miles on it. I got it with lots of highway miles. I chose it over a Camry on the lot as the interior was flawless. Even though I have never liked the design on the front end (headlights and all) Its an amazing vehicle. Top comfort, smooth ride and a very powerful block. Believe it or not, old Trixie (thats her name.. i know very slutty) has blown out a couple o mustangs at some lights. No mods whatsoever. Not to mention the fuel efficiency.
Well so far its a free car for me. My mom bought a 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 and she has thus far given me this car. She might want some money at some point. Im neutral towards the car at this point. I dont think the car handles or rides well for a car of its class. When I say this car can gets away from me in this video Im not talking about the power but its handling. Also you can feel metal against metal vibration in the steering column. Brakes are tricky too. 74,000 miles now.
@vistacruiser67 My husband has a Chevrolet and it has 2.4 twin-cam engine. I realized with some american cars they don't handle the road well. It never vibrates but it is hard to handle the car and I have driven several cars because my husband was selling cars and using me as his test driver.
lmao... gas accent gay car and when he said the thing will get aeay from you lol lol lol these cars a pussy oldsmobiles the aurora northstar would def. get away from him if he couldnt hadle this v6

@dthomlyn Next to my Honda Acorrds, 3.5 intrigue is the best i've driven and was proud to own. Then my dumbass friend wrapped her around a pole.

I was speaking of the handling characteristics not the power of the engine.

A good sized V6, with great injection, and a great valve train. It a all good.

makes a good ladies city car or A to B but real cars don't power the front wheels, they lift them unless its a Tornado, Eldorado, or 80's Seville.
