Hello, I am currently building my first water cooled rig. I am jsut waiting for my Mountainmod U2-UFO to arrive this sunday. I have been looking for a good front panel with front audio and USB to fit in the 51/4 Bay. Could you tell me what you chose in your build. I like the look of it. How do you like it? Where can I get one. Also, where do you get the wireing extensions that you had chosen. Really nice look! I went with vertical MB...hope I don't regret it.
daz once you have decided what cables your using on the psu, open it up and chop off the ones you dont need, heatshrink each cut cable seperatly, then you have no wiring mess,
Looks Great I'm using your idea for the dubble rad setup in my new Cooler Master cosmos II case ,I'm just waiting for the fans I found at Performance PC and a new xfx 6970 from NewEgg , Tri- Fire I'L be posting videos when I get the Parts Thanks for the great idea
@CyberDruidtheModGod That the plan. Something quick and dirty, because as I move all my data from 800D rig to this, I can re-use modular PSU I I have.
If I were you Daz, I would pull out my soldering iron and make up all of the wiring myself. If you open up the power supply, you should be able to re-wire everything to the perfect lengths, a job I am trying to do is reverse the power to the motherboard, removing the connectors, drilling through mobo tray and soldering the wires into the board from the other side, so you can't see them at all, making this segregated mobo in the middle of nowhere.
Doesn't matter how many videos I watch, I'll always maintain that DazMode makes the prettiest water cooling tubing ever. One question though, on a big open case like this - why not use a modular PSU?
And my mom call me a Geek :D
