Found a solution, I had to remove all the codecs K-Lite and those. I had to reinstall Sony Vegas Pro 10. And then I replaced the aviplug.dll (google it) This problem is associated to Win 7-64 bits.

I saved the vegas pro video file into my USB Flash drive and saved with .veg format which is I was made it with my home computer, now I am in my office computer and try to open this file but they not allow me to open this file, it's say that, "SOME STREAM IN THE MEDIA FILE COULD NOT BE OPENED", so how do I solve this problem, Is there in Vegas pro program has some thing missing that I not enabled or could be anything & if any one can know about problem. @NEKAADMI A file with a .veg extension can only be opened with vegas. In order for you to open it as a regular video file, you will have to render it as avi, wmv or jpeg file so you can open it in the windows media player. I dont know if that answers your question

Worked like a charm. I didn't have any Xvid codec installed but installing K-Lite codec pack just did it.

Why on earth does this happen? No idea, but the solution is SIMPLE. And no, installing windows 7 codec pack doesn't help, god knows why...

It's incredible but it worked. I wasted so many days (or maybe weeks) of my life solving this problem... I reinstalled Vegas, I configured settings of ffdshow, Xvid and etc, I installed and uninstalled codecs and codec packs, I used different programms like GSpot and so on.

If you are using ULead video & capturing in AVI studio go to OPTIONS, Video & Audio Capture Property Settings then Capture Change YUY2 to RGB24. Then when you capture and drag to Sony Vegas you should see Video and Audio. The quality is alot better than than the other settings. Make sure you always sharpen your videos in Sony Vegas around about 8.09 ratio....crystal clear.

I converted a 170 MB file and now its over 5000 MB... or is there some kind of option so you doesn't need to get such a HUGE file?
