I've LUMIX G2. Much better than Canon and Nikon for me. Absolutely in love with my camera!! And filming in HD, it comes out great. Totally recomend it.

Both are superb, with lots of serious photographers as fans. Really it depends on what you want to do with the camera. Best go to a store and pick them up and try them out. The G1 is very like a DSLR, with some DSLR functionality the G10 can't match while the G10 is maybe the best compact digicam out there.

Lumix G1... Canon G10 its only a compact camera, Lumix G1 its a interchangeable lens camera.
