Great little vid -- thanks for taking the time to share! I'm sitting between a pair of EVENT SP-8's while listening in my studio: the stereo image is wider with the analogue summing, and noticeably warmer. To those who can't hear the difference... get better monitors! ;)
@soma808 I already explained that it was on off the cuff video, and not a pure scientific test. I'm looking forward to seeing your demonstration video.
@TMCKZ This was an off-the-cuff video, I wasn't sure it would be usable with the sound, but the effect was so obvious even through the video that I thought it could be of some use. If you can't hear the difference I would double check your monitors. Thanks for watching.
You'd already nulled the test by eq'ing the drums. But that's just my jealousy talking. Enjoy that setup! :)

That's a big sound difference! Is there any EQ and compression when running through the board, or is it flat?

@marQuemusic There is a bit of EQ on the board, so it's not a pure scientific test, but it did make a huge-ass difference, EQ or no EQ!
