In case anyone's wondering what Craig meant at the beginning, this was the second time Neil sang America that night. Something happened to the sound system during the performance, so Neil sang the song again immediately afterward. Good sport and other than that glitch it was a good dress rehearsal.

I believe that they were supposed to go to a commercial break. They taped the rehearsal in case bad weather cancelled the following night's performance. If it was cancelled they would have broadcasted this performance.
