i hate to be a downer, but this is actually from the 3rd series...(it's obvious from his jacket color)

@reccaflame13 Green jacket: first series; red jacket: second series; pink jacket: third series. His jacket here looks kinda light but it's not pink.

Also, the "Lupin the 3RD" title pops up in English, and is exactly the same as in the first two openings. The Japanese openings have the title in Japanese not English. Since the third series was never officially translated into English, a third series opening sequence would have the title in Japanese (or at least the logo would differ in some way).

@jordinho13 - Correct, uploader; definitely second series, not third; watched this live as a kid in Tokyo in 1980; remember the red jacket vividly. Can practically quote this instrument music sequence frame for frame.

Sorry dude, you're wrong. This is without doubt the SECOND series (155 episodes), with the RED jacket Lupin (ok, in this opening, the jacket seems to be somewhat faded lol).

The THIRD series (50 episodes) shows Lupin with a PINK jacket, and more importantly, the chara design is completely different from the 2 previous series.
