  • Sammy had to fold his deuces, but if he'd been priced in, his set could have knocked out 2 players and Farha would almost certainly have gone on to win.

  • Why is there no action on the turn and river when Grey is all in? Shouldn't Moneymaker and Vahedi be allowed to bet into a side pot?

  • @ajohn99 Proper tournament poker protocol is to check when someone is all in, so that the 2 people or more people that have the all-in pusher covered have better odds of knocking him out, making the entire table more money (in tournament winnings). They probably checked rather quickly, especially since both hands weren't very strong anyway, just hoping that Grey didn't have a hand, and the broadcast probably just skipped the check.

  • @ajohn99 Yeah. I guess Moneymaker checked and Vahedi checked behind him and it got edited out of the footage. I'm surprised Moneymaker didn't raise with two pairs though.

  • chris money maker ate darvin moon

  • lol Dan Harrington - you folded 9s?

yeah thats a hand you fold in a raised pot preflop

(unless he put fester on a slowplayed AA)

  • why would chris randomly call david greys raise with 5 4 off suit.guess just gambling but doesnt make sense

  • because its for such a small percentage of moneymakers overall stack

  • you`ve just pointed out that it does make sense......it was just gambling

    He had nothin to lose

$40 satellite into the main event

  • @lee0187 of course not moron, once you're in the money you fight for every place. That he paid almost nothing doesn't matter.

Apart from that, calling 85000 when you have a stack of 2.5 million is nothing. You have to play against shortstacks or else you can sit there for hours

  • for once sammy doesnt gamble and he missed out on what could have been more ammo to take it down. oh what could have been

  • yeah what could have been. i.e no moneymaker effect, no boom, no ridiculous amount of fish and no hugely popular game we have now. what could have been...

  • wrong commentary at 1:59 a deuce would have given him a straight

  • quite a well natured final table, i like the world seires when they present it like this and dont make people hate eachother and have that really intense music, it makes it way too spectacle

  • poker...

    simply the best

  • why would they both call his all-in? they're noobs.

  • all david grey had left was the size of a small preflop raise and by the time vahedi called he was getting 3/1 not to mention that despite the percentages they both had a better hand than the person who made the bet.
