So sad Charlie Louvin and Buddy Charleton have passed away in the same week. Losing all these legends is hard to accept, soon the golden age of country will be a bygone era. Appreciate the living legends while they are still with us.

I was excited to see Leon Rhodes playing a Grammer Guitar. I helped to build that guitar and many more when I was in high school. Leon was a friend and showed me some hot licks on the guitar. I treasure those memories.

Buddy & Leon ruled & nobody did better twinning than they did in my opinion. I got to meet Buddy while I was on tour with Wayne "The Train" a few months back & it was truly an honor. A class act & as good as it gets on the steel. Thanks for posting this!

Buddy Charlton is the guy who really made me to dig deeper in the great world of pedal steel guitar.Players to day may play more chords and play alot faster,but they dont have the smoothness of a Buddy Charlton brand of steel
