great stuff, I was wondering if you could answer a question, I play by holding the harp against my lip, is this bad technique? should I be pressing against the teeth? how do you get past the discomfort? (I have a short clip of me playing on my page if you have the time) Thanks.
its not a bad technique, its just different. the sound, the sustain wont be that strong and you get a dull sound result. if you press t against the teeth, the frame will be stable and the reed will resonate much longer, youll hear much more overtones.
good show sir...good show...

hey can u help me please? do you know if i could play the jew harp with braces? also, are the £4 jew harps from music shops any good?
fluffjelly 2 years ago
I learned it with bracers, no problem.
And any jewish harp should work...
if u like it, buy a better one but to practice it should be fine. Mine is a 5€ jew's harp and I still play on it :)
