I am loving ALL your videos! Thank you so much for sharing what you know with the world. I made my first batch of glitter paints last night, as per your instructions and I am having a blast! You make it all look so easy...and really it can be...you just have to apply with confidence. Thanks again...I am subbing you!
I tried it this weekend Paula! First 4 times didn't work (didn't dry the gesso enough, the water was going under the stencil, and I was leaving out the paper towel step of soaking up water before wiping), but 5th time was a charm. I sprayed the water on the stencil instead of in the negative area - I think I need a mister with a finer mist. I am addicted now. :) thanks for posting!!!
Cant wait to get into my craft room and try this technique. Thanks to watching you here and on ustream I have found that stencils are wonderful and now have quite a few but not anywhere near as many as you Paula. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart for sharing your GREAT talent and helping me to find the confidence to explore new techniques with my supplies. Take Care, Fran.
Wonderful-as usual! I love the way you demo and explain different techniques as well as supplies used, and the way they interact with each other and the paper. . Great job-thanks for all the useful info!
HOLEY MOLEY!!! This technique rocks! You come up the the most CREATIVE ideas and you always explain and demonstrate them so clearly. I'm going to try this on a set of note cards :) Thank you friend.
Paula you inspire me every time I watch you! I have only got to see your live show on Ustream a couple of times, mostly I end up watching the recording.......but I just wanted you to know how watching you has helped me get out my supplies and use them.....instead of letting them gather dust! Please keep the classes coming..........you are my creative muse
Paula wonderful technique you have shared with us again can't wait to try it out. I only get to see your recordings on usteam but love them all too! thank you for helping to inspire my creativity.
I have missed your vids.. going to have to try ustream. learning a lot from you. loved this technique...interesting what gesso and no gesso does. thanks again..margenek
I really liked how you showed both sides like that. Does it matter what type of gesso. I bought a bottle at Walmart and did not realize that it was white. I did manage to get a small bottle of clear transparent gesso. I really enjoy your videos, always happy to get a notice when you have ready to view. TFS and God Bless.
Very cool! I just got my first art journal and my first Crafter's Workshop templates a couple weeks ago....and next week the kids go back to school...so I'll finally have a little time to play!! Can't wait to try this! TFS, Heather
you're scrappy, i like you. you should be brave and try other kinds of art, and putting real protest messages and really showing yourself. you would be so good!! you already are, and you're just playing and having fun, imaging how great could you art be with real intentions! lots of love
This is cool . Was wondering what is the thickness of the paper used in the journal . Is it like cardstock .. Like a matte type ? Thanks for sharing . I love to stencil but haven't tried this technique yet.
WOW, this is awesome, thanks for the video!!

it didn't work for me. And I tried it a number of times.
Maybe my stencil was too flimsy?
