definitely not everyone. this girl prolly speaks english a lot (like in school or something) that's why her accent's "americanesque", like u said.

theres a lot, but then some filipinos dont show it cuz other filipino might say they r just showing off.. thats why wen i was still in the phil. i dont talk taht way cuz my friends might say im showing off but then now that im abroad i speak english that way and nobody would mind.. :)

That's the trend in Metro Manila today - many people pronounce the "R" in an American way. Normally, Tagalog "R" sounds like Spanish "R".

I was laughing about the mano po because when I met the family I did that for soooooo many relatives I basically done it to the whole city of Batangas. Although I learned not to say some things in english because it is not good there.....lol
