And with a component cable between the hv10 and a hd-tv? Still no high definition quality on the tv then?

unfortunatelly not. hv 10 does not have any hdmi output. if you need that you should edit on your pc in hd , without any renfering..and then connect your pc to tv or make dvd for reading in a dvd player
