  • This is not Kuntao. But copied from West Javanese Silat. You mispelled Langka. It was supposed tobe Langkah with "h" :-) Needs some help in lecturing bahasa Indonesia. Call me :-)

  • @BangTerra Basically various styles of silat and kuntao are in this forms.I guess the advantage of being an Indo is that more people share with the Indo.

  • Damn I must be bored, cause I watched this whole video even with the gay ass music...

  • this looks a little like american kempo. nice vid

  • Nice demonstration, thank you for posting this!

  • I studied Kun Tao from a student of william reeders in Colorado Springs in the early 1980's. I moved away, and got involved in Hsing-I, i wish I had kept up on my forms. Great work my friend!! thanks

  • Thank you, whether you just started or need refreshing these videos are invaluable, great job, thanks again Steve

  • Thank you so much for sharing this. I learned the first of these sets years ago and had forgotten some of it. Now that I'm getting back into martial arts, it is great to resume practicing some of my old favorites. God bless you!

  • another great vid.

  • is this a visayan or a mindanaoan martial-arts?

  • @quimpoescobar kun tao was taught to the royal guards of a southern Chinese emperor

  • @quimpoescobar kun tao means way of the fist. tao means the way and kun means fist. its like using the term kung fu or martial arts. its a broad term used to describe vast amounts of martial arts. kun tao is not a "type" of martial art even though people try to pass it off as that. dont buy into it. find a REAL kung fu school if you want to learn. do your research.

  • Glad to see these forms on the youtube...I'm a former student, and can now keep these forms fresh in my mind without thinking I missed a particular qua, so I can concentrate more on muscle memory, and less on wondering if I was mixing up forms...Thank you!

  • Thank you for this video it is most helpful and encourageing and thank you Steve well done

  • Awesome I have watched Steve And Ted for about 3 years now and am proud to be a part of this art

  • Nice!

  • Guru Ted is an excellent practitioner- have crossed hands with him many times. He's good.

  • forms are like music tones only a trained ear can hear.a map book of invisable symbol's

meanings found filed under s only in the silat zone
