lots of stuff in this trailer dosnt actually happen in the wii version like the big spider chasing you and many of the area detail is different, is it the same in the game cube copy? or does the thing you see here actually in the game ?

@geekumangafish Some of this stuff didn't make it to the game, sadly. The GameCube version is the same as the Wii, but it's mirrored.

i remember this. but the actual game was so much different than what this trailer made it out to be. and i'm not talking about how "dark" the game could have been. unlike a lot of Zelda fans, i'm mature enough to know that "dark" doesn't mean mature or better. anyways, this trailer made it seem like it was going to be a vast open world, wild, desolate and dreamlike but mythical and mysterious. but the actual package ended up being an ultra-linear throwback to Ocarina. still a great game though.

Not true brother. Link is left-handed in EVERY SINGLE Zelda game up to date, except for Twilight Princess on the Wii.

Link has always been left-handed. But since the Wii they changed link to a right-handed person. From what I've seen, Link will also be right-handed in Skyward Sword. That will be the 2nd game where Link is right-handed.

Only when you're walking to the right. When you're walking to the left he's left-handed. That's because on the Gameboy the same sprite is simply mirrored when you turn around.

But when you're walking up or down, Link is, as always, left-handed.

they quit that spider at 1:05, and that monster thing at 1:16, the normal spiders in the game cannot trap you inside a spider web like in this trailer, and you cannot fight the gorons like that at 0:38. there were more changes than i remember.

nishy100: The scenary is different in the trailer than the game, it seems to make Hyrule a Lot bigger. The trailer also makes Hyrule have a darker feel to it as the Twilight was covering it you know? I would say more but I'm happy with Twilight Princess. There will never be a Zelda game that will let me down. :)

They said some of it was too dark for a Zelda game, and they wanted to save some idea's for the next Zelda.

Some developers, however, have no idea what they are doing. At all. And have no good reason to do what they may have done. Look at Sonic 06 and the GBA port of the first game. They were almost UNPLAYABLE.

Funny how different the final package turned out to be. From what this trailer promised and from what I got the only thing that disapointed me was TP ended up being super-uber linear and the wolf element was very dry. Otherwise,they did so many things right.

OMG Finally, someone who agrees with me...And yeah, looking back at this now, they changed SOOO many things... in some ways, it's quite disappointing...

Yeah, TP was really really linear, and at those small places where it wasn't, it felt really awkward.

Similarly, using the wolf form early on was honestly quite a hassle, and it wasn't until later that it got better ~___~

But yeah, overall, the game still had a good feel to it....
