The numbers and charts say otherwise, smart one. This isn't a world of bright happy people holding hands and singing joy to the world, this reality is cold, difficult and brutal. Religion is not certain death, you can't describe Buddhism until you study it, it's a method for altering your Consciousness to connect to the Pure Essence of God within All Beings... it's not religion, they could care less about modern development, this altered heightened state of Consciousness leaves you in JOY they have no desire for material garbage

Their idiotic religion is what killed Tibet, that's why they don't have flashlights, cars, goods WORTHY of TRADE with other nations around the world, A COUNTRY, the ability to keep that country from being taken by countries who have all of the above things and more that you need to well, survive in today's world. Trust me, if they don't drop that Buddhist religion of theirs they won't survive very long even if they do get freed, they are just to under developed of a race to even exist.

it can't be, the Dalai must be wrong about what he said.... Tibet must be modernized? even if their culture is being demolished by the chinese, no way, now my perspective about him changed a little..
I hope this will be resolved. Tibet needs to be free. It is a shame that there are many protestors (spelling error) straying from the middle path and taking on an extremist approach.

BTW, Christianity. Islam. Buddhism are 3 major religion in the world, so respect the religion.

Go to Lhasa and see it by yourself, ask local Tibetans if they really want to be free.

If a Tibetan in Tibet says "Free Tibet" they will be in jail. So Tibetans are should not to talk freely to tourists unless they want to go to jail.
Go to Lhasa and see ALL the Han chinese invaders who are STILL invading Tibet.
Go to Tibet and see the biggest prison camp in the world.
