I'm watching a lot of my friends lose videos that they have worked hard on only to be removed right away. They're frustrated as well, and I don't blame you one bit for being upset about it.
Thank you Shane , and I found another of my videos that has been there for sometime I recorded me singing bridge over troubled waters for my brother passing and her almost a year later youtube took off the audio ,, BS really .
Excellent points Cheryl, I am sure it is not the artists who are complaining, it is the record companies who want more money. YouTube has the audience and the record companies have the content. Plus this being in the media all the time adds even more publicity for YouTube.
Personally, I would like to see music tracks allowed in exchange for displaying links, invideo advertising etc. OR a section of tracks on itunes where you can buy tracks designated for use on YouTube. btw I am sharing!:)
Cool Anthony Thank you , There has got to be a way we could make it to where perhaps a link in the song that a person can buy the song from the record company when ever there music is displayed(On auto) that would be one way youtube could cover there but. You are so right ,.
Youtube is not the bad guy here, they will allow you to use copyrighted music under many different circumstances, even where they tell us in the terms of use that material needs to be 100% original, if you downloaded the music from the internet, chances are there is embedded code identifying it and youtube's robot monkeys will remove it to protect themselves from lawsuits from record labels
Wizardeal Sweetheart , look at the video I made the other day ,. it was a thank you to my friends and I used a song I had on my computer from a CD I own ,. that is in my computers libary ,. how do you get music to use that will not do that with out using a program for music that will give your computer a virus loke limewire ,,,
I play the music myself with my guitar and m-audio sound processor which creates bass, drums and keyboard sounds, there is no law that says i can't do that, I have covers of lots of songs on my channel and I have never had an issue with copyright.

I agree with you whole heartedly. However, Radio Stations pay Royalties not to the Artist, who does get a small percentage, but to the Record produecers copyright owners of the material. Bands make more money out of live shows and gig than the sale of records. YouTube is trying to get rid of vloggers, becuase it is a buisness and has to be run like one. They wont miss us if we leave, they would welcome it and that is why they have Partners, who are paid to make videos.
Annet this is crazy , youtube is messed up and we can not express what we feel with the crap youtube saus we can use . We are not selling it , it shouldnt matter if we use music we have bought on cd and use it to make cute videos or even sing to it.
Please excuse me at my attitude , this is not right . I worked for 8 1/2 hours on the last video to get every picture in line with every word and this they have took off the audio Copyright BU**SH&^
Cheryl, tell me what song it is you want to use and i will record it for you and give you permission to use it, then you can place in the description (song title) used with permission.
That is so true , however what we need to do is get the law behind us in the facy we are not selling the songs ,

YT removed 4 video's on my own channel this year, because of the music...
I know I'm not allowed to use someone elses music, but it takes away a lot of fun to máke anymore video's...
Popular music is so much more beautiful, then the funeral music that is copyright-fréé on the internet... LOL
