This video made me cry my dad just died of acute liver failure on friday, and everything seems to be happening too fast. I feel like I should be with my family right now, but I can't miss school. I don't know what to do.

No i am actually in high school. And my mom doesn't want me missing any school because of my dad. They divorced when I was 11 so she doesn't really want me to go to his service either, even though it is during thanksgiving break.

my grandfather just passed at 12:50 pm on november 15th, he raised me from birth, my grandfather didnt have any sons of his own, and i didnt have a father , i was his son he never had and he was the father i didnt have, we filled a void in each others life, and it couldnt be anyother way. he is my hero and will be forever. i love you grandpa joe.

Kind of reminds me when my dad left when he found out my mother was pregnant. I never got to be daddy's little girl, I have no idea where he is dead or alive. But you lost your dad in a completely different way. The world isn't fair but God probably has a special job for him up in heaven.

I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad, David. I prayed for Rene and you. I lost my Grandmother and my dog of 0 years last month within 3 days apart. My puppy dog died first then my Grandma. Oh what a month it was plus I was believing for my healing to manifest at that same time when I went to the Furious Love event and it didn't. You're right about one thing, you never know how much time you have with the ones you love. I was glad to see my Grandma 1 last time the night before she died. I miss her

Thank You. My father died Jan 2, 2010. Alcohol...the worst thing is I refused to forgive him until the very end, so 44 years of not being in his life. I used to pray that my dad would be saved (and I believe he was at the end) but I think that this grief that is crushing a heart of stone, will, ultimately save me...
