it says in his bio that when he was little, he was given a "thrashing" in training but when it came to business, he could buckle down and give everyone else a thrashing, i wanna be like that and do that
its ridiculous how much top spin his forehand gets....his swing is practically horizontal, and he hits it with no power...but that ball is travelling!!!
It's even more amazing when you consider that he is using an Eastern grip...
The key to Federer's game is a perfect motion on each shot. I know many people who didn't want to listen and who believe that you develop such a thing naturally... No my friend, even Federer, the G.O.A.T., had to practice and learn his forehand.
The moral of Federer's game is that:
Technic is more important than pure skills and when both are there, you are a champion for the eternity.
@thegarbageman21 well you can tell hes hitting really casually here, he has a much bigger wrist snap when hes really going for it... federers allways relaxed during practice at tournemants because he believes that all the hard work has been done before the tournemant... which is a good philosophy...
this is a mandatory warm up when their not playing. so people who bought tickets can actually see them hit the ball. But believe me they have their own time schedule for their own Practice and warm up that is private.
this game looks so easy when he is on court while its definitely not
